How To Prevail Mightily: Thought, Word, Action

When you understand the Trinity concept and bring it into your life, it will help you to become more than a conqueror. One way to look at the Paradise Trinity is this: God the Father is the "Thought". God the Eternal Son is the "Word" and God the Infinite Spirit is the "Action", "Act" or "Deed". The Father thinks the Thought. The Son speaks the Word. The Spirit does the Deed.

It is very, very important to understand that everything must start with the "thought". If you really want to experience great success, you must follow process. And this is the process:

1st: The Thought.

2nd: The Word.

3rd: The Act or Action.

A very big reason why some people do not see amazing breakthroughs in their lives is this: They are not following due process. You cannot skip the "Thought" and jump straight to the "Word" or "Act". You cannot skip the Father and jump straight to the Son, Christ or the Holy Spirit. (The Eternal Son manifests as Christ Michael to us; the Infinite Spirit manifests as the Holy Spirit to us, here on planet Earth far, far, far, far, far away from the Paradise realms.) You cannot skip the heart of the Father, which is in the "Thought" and expect to see the manifestations of the Holy Spirit greatly in your life. Yes, you may see some little manifestations, here and there BUT if you desire amazing manifestations; amazing victories everyday, then you must excel, first and foremost, at the level or stage of the "Thought".

Now please, how does God the heavenly Father manifest to us? How can you gain access to the "Thought"? This is a very, very important question. How can you prevail in your thought life? To discover the answer to these questions, you have to know how the Father manifests to you as the "Thought". The answer is hidden in plain sight! The Father manifests to you as your spirit - the still small voice within; the divine spark of God; the Inner Voice. This is your "Thought Adjuster". This is how the Father who is actually very, very far, far, far, far away from you comes so, so, so, so close to you. He does this by way of the divine spirit within - your "Thought Adjuster". Faith acts to release the superhuman activities of the divine spark, the immortal germ, that lives within your mind. You need FAITH!

To gain the victory in your thought life or in your thoughts, you have to learn how to excel with your thoughts. To do this, you have to know how to approach God as, "Thought". Everything starts with the thought. This is why God the Father is called the First Source and Center of all! Hallelujah! To mightily and lovingly prevail in your thoughts, you have to walk in enjoying wonderful interactions with God in your thoughts. This is where your Inner Voice, Inner Guide, Thought Adjuster or still small voice within comes in. You have to allow God to come to you as a still small voice, interacting with you in the realm of your thoughts. And there are different techniques to make this happen successfully. When you get this right, then you can succeed with the "Word" powerfully and then you can move onto "Action".

This is how you prevail; how you excel in any and all areas of your life. This is how you gain the victory. This is the process. So many people miss out and are just suffering and struggling because they are not following PROCESS. Firstly, you must build a loving, amazing, intimate, one-on-one, personal conversational relationship with your divine Thought Adjuster who lives within your mind; let God take charge of your thoughts or your thought life. And then the Son (the Word) will be able to gain deep roots in you for the Spirit (the Action, the Act) to move in you and through you to manifest amazing wonders for your intellectual and spiritual uplift and that of others - God adding value to others through you; God bringing so much love and blessings and breakthroughs to you and to others through you. And please, note that you can be enjoying all these at the same time: Thought, Word, Action, for in a sense, they are intertwined. But you must learn to follow the right process. Hallelujah!

Death, Physical Death

 "...What magic could death, the natural dissolution of the material body, hold that such a simple step should instantly transform the mortal and material mind into an immortal and perfected spirit? Such beliefs are but ignorant superstitions and pleasing fables." - Urantia Book 48:0.3 

So, right here in the Urantia Book, we see that: 
Death, physical death, is the natural dissolution of the material body.
and
Death is a simple step that we take to transition from this earthly realm to the celestial realms. 

Death is a technique that releases the soul and allows the soul and spirit to leave this earth and go to heaven. This is simply the function of death - death of the physical body. Death has no power to make you a perfected spirit. To become a perfected spirit, or for your soul to become perfect as your spirit Thought Adjuster is perfect, you have to grow intellectually and spiritually. 

Three Kinds of Death 
There are three different kinds of death:
UB Paper 112:3, "The Phenomenon of Death"

Urantians generally recognize only one kind of death, the physical cessation of life energies; but concerning personality survival there are really three kinds:

1. Spiritual (soul) death. If and when mortal man has finally rejected survival, when he has been pronounced spiritually insolvent, morontially bankrupt, in the conjoint opinion of the Adjuster and the surviving seraphim, when such co-ordinate advice has been recorded on Uversa, and after the Censors and their reflective associates have verified these findings, thereupon do the rulers of Orvonton order the immediate release of the indwelling Monitor. But this release of the Adjuster in no way affects the duties of the personal or group seraphim concerned with that Adjuster-abandoned individual. This kind of death is final in its significance irrespective of the temporary continuation of the living energies of the physical and mind mechanisms. From the cosmic standpoint the mortal is already dead; the continuing life merely indicates the persistence of the material momentum of cosmic energies.

2. Intellectual (mind) death. When the vital circuits of higher adjutant ministry are disrupted through the aberrations of intellect or because of the partial destruction of the mechanism of the brain, and if these conditions pass a certain critical point of irreparability, the indwelling Adjuster is immediately released to depart for Divinington. On the universe records a mortal personality is considered to have met with death whenever the essential mind circuits of human will-action have been destroyed. And again, this is death, irrespective of the continuing function of the living mechanism of the physical body. The body minus the volitional mind is no longer human, but according to the prior choosing of the human will, the soul of such an individual may survive.

3. Physical (body and mind) death. When death overtakes a human being, the Adjuster remains in the citadel of the mind until it ceases to function as an intelligent mechanism, about the time that the measurable brain energies cease their rhythmic vital pulsations. Following this dissolution the Adjuster takes leave of the vanishing mind, just as unceremoniously as entry was made years before, and proceeds to Divinington by way of Uversa. 

Now please, let's take a look at, "The wages of sin is death." Please, what does this mean? 

Urantia Book 53:9.8
"But for ages the seven prison worlds of spiritual darkness in Satania have constituted a solemn warning to all Nebadon, eloquently and effectively proclaiming the great truth “that the way of the transgressor is hard”; “that within every sin is concealed the seed of its own destruction”; that “the wages of sin is death.”"  

“The wages of sin is death”: This is talking about spiritual or soul death NOT physical death (not body and mind death). Physical death is simply the natural dissolution of the material body of flesh and blood. It is used to release the soul and spirit from this earthly realm. Another way to release the soul and spirit from this earthly realm is translation by the spiritual fires of God, "chariots of fire": "the spiritual fires of consuming grandeur and ascending glory." (UB 55:2.5)

Why God Allowed Animal Blood Sacrifices

 

Please, we have to clearly understand the history of blood sacrifices. Long, long, long before Moses was even born, human and animal blood sacrifices were going on worldwide. Primitive man found it very, very difficult, even impossible to believe that salvation, divine favor, or any serious divine intervention can occur without him paying a very hefty price for it. And to him, that very hefty price of very great value has to be something physically tangible. And what better hefty price to pay than his own first-born son? In some communities around the world, the hefty price was their little babies, little children, or slaves. 

That's why, all over the world, primitive peoples practiced human blood sacrifices. They couldn't believe that a sincere heart of repentance that seeks to walk in love is good enough.

The senseless killings of their fellow human beings continued until gradually, they made a leap of faith to replace humans with another high valued commodity - their highly valued animals. God and his angels helped them to make this leap. At least, it was better than human sacrifices. Please, this should not be interpreted to mean that God needs blood. No, he does not. All he needs is for you to have faith in him, in his goodness, and in his love. Faith and faith alone. His grace is already available. Just have faith, living faith! But man found it extremely difficult to run. So, holy angels helped him to crawl. 

The angels of the churches are in charge of the religious life of human beings. These angels, together with the angels of progress, guided primitive man to evolve from human blood sacrifices to animal blood sacrifices. These angels were involved in the delivery of the law of Moses. Even before Moses was born, the law was already in place in different communities all over the world. The law was a religious code of conduct that people practiced worldwide. The Hebrews were not the first to get the law - the religious codes of conduct. 

Now, please understand that even though godly, loyal angels helped man to create "the law," they did not literally write down everything for man. They simply led or guided man to come up with something he could work with, based on his level of understanding. The Spirit does not force. The Spirit leads and guides. 

This means the law was bound to contain some things that were not in line with the divine love of God because of the level of intelligence and spirituality of the men and women who put it together. Also, you have to factor in interference from rebel spirits, demons, pretending to be angels of love and light. In assisting us, holy angels do not write down everything for us. They will tell us some things and lead or guide us to some things, but ultimately, we have to evolve through EXPERIENCE to arrive at greater revelations. This takes time. 

The real, final destination was the total abandonment of blood sacrifices altogether. But back then, it was too big of a leap to get primitive minded man to abandon blood sacrifices altogether. This was why he was nudged to replace human blood sacrifices with animal blood sacrifices. That was simply the next practical step for most humans to take back then. 

While all those gruesome blood sacrifices were going on, God continued to send teachers, prophets, more enlightened men and women to teach mankind, worldwide, to help him evolve, grow, become more intelligent and more spiritually minded, little by little. And then, as a result, to abandon blood sacrifices altogether, totally and completely BECAUSE GOD DOES NOT NEED BLOOD. 

This explains why Melchizedek of Salem never practiced blood sacrifices. He had a system of worship in place. He had many students or members. Abraham was one of them. He sent out missionaries worldwide. In helping man to evolve, Melchizedek brought in the sacrament of bread and wine TO REPLACE the sacrament of flesh and blood. A very, very big tipping point came when Christ incarnated as Jesus. His life and teachings clarified everything, answered the puzzle, and sealed the icing on the cake. And if you pay close attention, you will see that Jesus, just like Melchizedek, used bread and wine, NOT flesh and blood. ❤️ 

God does not need blood because his infinite love is so, so, so powerful to transform a soul that opens up to it. His love can also easily break the yoke of sin or the grip of evil, sin, and iniquity. His love, his divine presence, and his holy spiritual anointing oil are so, so, so enriching, enlightening, and empowering to save, to heal, to deliver, and to lift you up. Father God does not need blood in the equation. 

Psalm 51:16-17, “For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart - These, O God, You will not despise.”

Why Do We Need Salvation?

Now, beloved, why do we need salvation? Do we need salvation because of sin? No, please. We were not created with eternal life inherent within us. We were created mortals, with the potential of becoming immortals IF we accept to wholeheartedly commit ourselves to the eternal divine plan and purpose of God. Embracing the divine love with all our hearts and dedicating our lives to his love is a signal to God that we are totally willing to align with, and eternally commit to his eternal divine plan and purpose. 

As a result, he gives us the free gift of salvation and eternal life. This eternal life is the God-kind of life that empowers us and enables us to literally live forever. In order to fulfill your role in his eternal divine plan and purpose, you have to live forever. So, he gifts you his eternal life. Those who refuse to align with his will and way, ultimately cease to exist. He will not or cannot force them to work with him forever. So, goodbye. They are gone.  Yes, our salvation delivers us from sinning or living in sin. Nevertheless, even if Lucifer had never rebelled and even if we humans do not do very terrible things, we will still be in need of salvation and eternal life. To receive salvation is to be crowned a bonafide spiritual son of God. To receive eternal life or to have eternal life fully functional in your life is to be crowned with the ability to live forever, endlessly, ruling and reigning with the everlasting, ever-loving, all-powerful heavenly Father, the First Source and Divine Center.  We mortals are not created or born with eternal life inherent within us. And we were not born having the absolute, eternal perfection of God. Same goes for some celestial beings like Lucifer. If Lucifer and all other unseen beings who rebelled had the absolute, eternal perfection of "the Father in heaven", they would never ever had rebelled or sinned. The ability or tendency to sin would not have been present. Some of God's children or creatures, terrestrial and celestial alike... ...some... ...were intentionally not created with the absolute, spotless, infallible perfection of God. They were created with varying degrees of perfection and then commanded to EXPERIENCE LIFE and grow or evolve to become perfect as the heavenly Father is perfect. And there are amazing reasons for this.

NB: 

We know that there are billions upon billions of galaxies. It is estimated that there are between 200 billion to 2 trillion galaxies in the observable universe. Each galaxy has trillions upon trillions of planets and stars. We are definitely not alone. God (our Source) has revealed to those who care to listen that he has intelligent free will mortals in other planets - in trillions of planets. Now, please, what is the requirement for salvation for people living in all these planets out there? It is LOVE - the wholehearted embrace of the divine love by faith that really ushers in the free gift of salvation and eternal life.   Urantia Book 15:14.8  "The grand universe number of your world, Urantia, is 5,342,482,337,666. That is the registry number on Uversa and on Paradise, your number in the catalogue of the inhabited worlds. I know the physical-sphere registry number, but it is of such an extraordinary size that it is of little practical significance to the mortal mind."  Jesus said he has sheep not of this fold or not of this world. Also, God, our heavenly Father can confirm for you that free will intelligent mortals exist in some other planets - if you ask him earnestly and sincerely. Please, have you ever asked God, the God of LOVE?

The New Birth And Eternal Life

Yes, we all are sons of God - children of God. But you, a son of God, have to willingly, gladly, and wholeheartedly accept God's offer of salvation before you can experience the new birth. You have to accept the status of sonship. Every human being, by just being a human being alone, is a son of God. But you are not yet saved - you are not yet a born again, born from above, born of the spirit, spirit-born son of God if by his grace through faith, you have not wholeheartedly embraced God's love and made a personal commitment to walk in his love. The salvation process is what really gets you to accept your status of divine sonship with God. This acceptance cannot and will not be forced upon you.  

Being a child or a son of God is automatic. But salvation is not automatic. Salvation is a free gift that you receive. It will not and cannot be forced upon you. When you receive salvation, you are spirit-born, you receive the baptism of the spirit Thought Adjuster, the still, small voice that is already living inside of you, in your mind - in the superconscious level of your mind, the Holy of Holies within you. Then you become a "faith son of God."

At salvation, your soul is immersed in the spiritual waters of God. You experience the new birth - the baptism of the spirit. You receive deliverance from evil, and you enter into the spiritual kingdom of God. Before salvation, you were just a son of God who had not yet been spiritually baptized into the spiritual kingdom of God. It is the gift of salvation that makes you to be a "faith son of God" and that enables you to actually and practically have eternal life. This eternal life is a spiritual God-kind of life that enables you to literally live forever in love, light, righteousness, and eternal service to God and to all of existences. Without eternal life, you - your soul cannot live forever. At some point, the soul will cease to exist (the soul literally dies - cessation of creature existence). To live forever, an individual must have eternal life.

Jesus, in UB 148:4.8 said, "...The new birth—the baptism of the spirit—is essential to deliverance from evil and necessary for entrance into the kingdom of heaven, but none of this detracts from the fact that man is the son of God..."

Urantia Book Paper 40, Section 6, "The Faith Sons of God" 

UB 40:6.4

"1. You are sons of spiritual promise, faith sons; you have accepted the status of sonship. You believe in the reality of your sonship, and thus does your sonship with God become eternally real." 

Urantia Book Paper 142, Section 6, "The Visit with Nicodemus" 

UB 142:6.4 

"Jesus answered Nicodemus: “Verily, verily, I say to you, Nicodemus, except a man be born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Then replied Nicodemus: “But how can a man be born again when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb to be born.”"

"Jesus said: “Nevertheless, I declare to you, except a man be born of the spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the spirit is spirit. But you should not marvel that I said you must be born from above. When the wind blows, you hear the rustle of the leaves, but you do not see the wind—whence it comes or whither it goes—and so it is with everyone born of the spirit. With the eyes of the flesh you can behold the manifestations of the spirit, but you cannot actually discern the spirit.”"

UB 40:7.1 

"The sending of Adjusters, their indwelling, is indeed one of the unfathomable mysteries of God the Father. These fragments of the divine nature of the Universal Father carry with them the potential of creature immortality. Adjusters are immortal spirits, and union with them confers eternal life upon the soul of the fused mortal." 

You receive the gift of eternal life, potentially speaking. I say potentially speaking because this gift of eternal life cannot be fully activated in your life NOT UNTIL after your fusion - eternal oneness with your spirit, your indwelling spirit Thought Adjuster. Before fusion, it is possible for someone to lose his salvation. After fusion, it is impossible. In the Urantia Book Paper 111:3.1, we see that it is impossible to lose your salvation AFTER fusion. Before fusion, the possibility exists. 

Urantia Book Paper 111, Section 3, "The Evolving Soul" 

UB 111:3.1 

"...Even after survival the ascending mortal still retains this prerogative of choosing to reject eternal life; at any time before fusion with the Adjuster the evolving and ascending creature can choose to forsake the will of the Paradise Father. Fusion with the Adjuster signalizes the fact that the ascending mortal has eternally and unreservedly chosen to do the Father’s will." 

Urantia Book Paper 49, Section 6, "Terrestrial Escape" 

UB 49:6.7 

"Thus are the sleeping survivors of a planetary age repersonalized in the dispensational roll calls. But with regard to the nonsalvable personalities of a realm, no immortal spirit is present to function with the group guardians of destiny, and this constitutes cessation of creature existence. While some of your records have pictured these events as taking place on the planets of mortal death, they all really occur on the mansion worlds."

Demonic Possession

Now, please, were there cases of real or actual demonic possession in the days of Jesus? Yes. Did Jesus cast out demons? Yes. However, since the day of Pentecost, demonic possessions cannot occur BECAUSE of the presence of the Spirit of Truth. Since the outpouring of the Spirit of Truth on all flesh, demonic possession ended. Jesus Christ ascended to heaven and sent his Comforter, the Spirit of Truth down to planet earth (Urantia) - poured out ON ALL FLESH.

We don't have demonic possession anymore as we used to have before Pentecost (Urantia Book 77:7.😎. What we have are cases of demonic oppression, not possession. There is a big difference. Strong or severe cases of demonic oppression may look like demonic possession, but they are not the same.
With demonic possession, rebel spirits are living inside the mind of the individual. This is not possible today because Thought Adjusters are now living in people's minds all over the world - in the minds of masses upon masses of people. Since Pentecost, Thought Adjusters (still, small voice within, the heavenly Father's spirit fragment) have been coming en-masse to indwelling mortals. Now add the outpouring of the Spirit of Truth upon all flesh.

For a human being to be demon possessed or possessed by any rebel spirit, his Thought Adjuster has to leave him, and the Spirit of Truth has to leave as well. In addition, he has to be cut off from the powerful influence of the Holy Spirit as well as the loving ministry of the angelic hosts. Such a case is very, very difficult, if not almost impossible to occur today. This is my understanding of these things.

We should not confuse demonic oppression with demonic possession. They are not the same. Also, some cases are not even demonic oppression. They are medical problems, psychiatric problems, psychological problems, mental problems, etc. You need the right knowledge, wisdom, understanding, counsel, courage, intuition, and a worshipful soul (worship) to be able to know or discern the difference. The seven adjutant mind-spirits come in very handy here.

Freedom From Demonic Influence or Demonic Oppression

People cannot be possessed by demons or rebel spirit beings today. But they can be troubled by them. They can be oppressed. To totally prevent or overcome demonic oppression, you need to walk by FAITH and LOVE - divine love. In short, you need to immerse yourself in *the fruits of the spirit.* This is your surest and greatest guarantee of total, 100% 💯 freedom from demonic oppression.

Today, some people, believers and unbelievers alike, are suffering from demonic oppression in one area of their lives or the other. They have allowed themselves, knowingly or unknowingly, to be entangled by negative energies, demonic, satanic spiritual circuits, demonic thought forms, etc...

Such brothers and sisters can be totally free as they grow in walking in the fruits of the spirit and in spiritual power. A quicker way to bring freedom, from my own experience in ministry is for someone else of greater manifestation of spiritual power and fruits of the spirit to pray for them. However, please, this does not substitute for walking in the fruits of the spirit. Rather, they go hand-in-hand.

Pray for them and pray with them. Distance cannot hinder such a prayer of faith. Even if they are miles apart, the prayer will still work. If they are standing face-to-face to each other, prayer by the laying on of hands or stretching your hands towards the individual does wonders.

I have prayed for people face-to-face and seen deliverance from demonic strongholds in their lives, taking place. Sometimes, the person may fall down and start shaking violently. Sometimes, you may even hear the rebel spirits speak using the person's voice. This can happen even though the individual is NOT demon possessed. Sometimes, it's not even a rebel spirit speaking. Sometimes, it's the troubled mind of the person speaking... This is a little complex or complicated matter.

Sometimes, I am taken up in the realm of the spirit; I travel long distances to meet people to pray for them and break demonic strongholds in their lives and in their communities. Sometimes, in a community, there may be negative, evil, demonic energies or circuits in a particular location, troubling the community. And God will send some faith-sons, faith-liberated souls: in the realm of the spirit, their souls with their Thought Adjusters will travel to the location and in partnership with other powerful and loving celestial beings, personalities and entities, they will shatter the negative, demonic energies to pieces and repurpose them to do good things.

Energy cannot be destroyed but it can be repurposed. It can be transformed and put to good use. Sometimes, the rebel spirits are not even literally present in a location, but their wicked energies or circuits are present. I know some Urantia Book students will argue against some of the things I have said. But I won't argue. Nothing beats practical, tangible experience. Just let me catch you one day face-to-face and then lay hands on you or have you see me lay hands on someone who is troubled by negative, demonic influence. Certain strongholds may manifest and be broken right before your eyes. Glory to God! 🔥💗🔥

Here, below, we see that although people cannot be demon possessed today, it is possible for them to be oppressed or troubled by demons or rebel spirit beings. It is possible for an individual to be cursed by their wicked presence - if he or she allows it. Sometimes, an individual can allow something without being very conscious of doing so. It is so important to always submit to the leading of your indwelling spirit, Thought Adjuster! It becomes so much easier to be spirit-led when you wholeheartedly commit to walking in the fruits of the spirit: loving service, peace, sincere fairness, joy, faith, undying hope, confiding trust, etc.

Urantia Book 53:8.6
"The last act of Michael before leaving Urantia was to offer mercy to Caligastia and Daligastia, but they spurned his tender proffer. Caligastia, your apostate Planetary Prince, is still free on Urantia to prosecute his nefarious designs, but he has absolutely no power to enter the minds of men, neither can he draw near to their souls to tempt or corrupt them unless they really desire to be cursed with his wicked presence."

Please, take a close look at UB 53:8.6. Right there, we learn that a wicked, rebel spirit CANNOT enter your mind and CANNOT corrupt your soul EXCEPT you really desire to be cursed with his wicked presence. Sadly, there are some people today who actually really desire to be cursed with the wicked presence of unclean, demonic spirits. These people wholeheartedly and persistently give themselves over to devils.
In such cases, the Thought Adjuster and the Spirit of Truth can leave that person. This makes it possible for a rebel spirit to enter the mind of the individual and to corrupt his soul. This is a very severe case of demonic oppression and can lead to demonic possession. Such cases are rare.

This is why I believe that even though demonic possession is a thing of the past, it is still possible IF someone really desires to be cursed with a demonic presence. Such a desire can get the Thought Adjuster and Spirit of Truth to leave. This makes the person open for all kinds of weird, demonic stuffs...

Now, please consider this twist:
Rebel spirits can enter the mind of a man or a woman and terribly corrupt his or her soul IF HE OR SHE REALLY DESIRES TO BE CURSED WITH THEIR WICKED PRESENCE.
Now, how much more, if you really desire to be blessed by God's glorious, loving, and all-powerful divine presence?

This is what will determine the number of very, very powerful and very, very loving celestial beings that will come to you to embrace you, love you, bless you, protect you, guide you, empower you, etc, etc.
Please, what is the level and quality of YOUR DESIRE?
You can become very, very great and very, very powerful in God's kingdom, walking in love and spiritual power. It's all up to you!

Prayer As A Solemn, Sacred Petition Or Request

 

A very powerful line to include in prayers, "In the name of the celestial intelligences of all Nebadon, I ask for..."   (See Urantia Book 189:2.1) What is prayer? Prayer is simply making a solemn, sacred petition. Prayer is not worship.  

You can make a solemn, sacred petition in the name above all names. And yes, you should.  The name above all names is the name that the heavenly Father, our First Source and Divine Center, gave to Jesus Christ at the successful completion of his bestowal mission on earth (Urantia). The Father gave him that name AFTER he successfully completed his mortal incarnation mission. The heavenly Father highly exalted his Son, our Master Son, our Master Michael. Before he came to our world, he did not have the name above all names. The name above every other name in our universe carries with it, all power, all glory, all authority that cannot be contested. That name means unlimited and unrestricted power and authority in the very universe that our Master, Christ Michael created. 

When you understand that prayer is simply making a solemn, sacred petition AND THAT prayer is not worship, then you will easily appreciate and understand the power, value, blessings and/or advantages of using prayer as a tool to get things done.  

In making solemn, sacred petitions or requests, sometimes you can call on or appeal to the power of the individual or individuals you are presenting your petition or request to. In other words, you can call on or invoke their names - meaning, their authority.  

Why pray in the names of celestial intelligences or celestial personalities? Why not pray only in the name above all names? 

We all, mortals and immortals alike, are all in "the kingdom of God." It's a family affair. Family members interact with one another. It's like asking: Why petition, request or ask for assistance from the governors of my country when I have access to the president himself? 

Prayer is spiritual communion. It is a solemn, sacred petition or request. It is having a plea-, petition-, or asking-conversation with someone who can assist. Prayer is making a request. 

Prayer is not worship. Worship is different.

The family of God has all kinds of family members who are empowered to assist one another. Just like you need to know how to approach your governor and how to tender requests to him, you need to know how to get the attention of your amazing celestial brothers and sisters, celestial helpers and to know how to get their assistance. Prayer is having a conversation of requests. It also promotes communion with the one you are speaking to. You do not bring in worship except you are speaking to/with the Paradise Father and his representatives like Christ Michael (a.k.a. Jesus Christ).  

In the Urantia Book 189:2.1, we read, "...the chief of archangels - the angels of the resurrection - approached Gabriel and asked for the mortal body of Jesus." The chief archangel made a request to Gabriel or placed a petition before Gabriel or prayed to Gabriel. The archangel said, "...In the name of the celestial intelligences of all Nebadon, I ask for a mandate giving me the custody of the mortal body of Jesus of Nazareth and empowering us to proceed with its immediate dissolution." 

This is a prayer. A conversation between two persons, where one individual is making a solemn, sacred request before the other. There is no worship involved. Even we humans pray to one another all the time. For example, I can come to you and say, "My brother (or my sister), I pray you to assist me with such and such." Hahaha...  I can stand before you and appeal to or humbly move you to use your powers to assist me or help me to get something done. Hallelujah!  

People have to see prayer from a different angle. Please, why did the archangel not go directly to the heavenly Father? Prayer is simply making a solemn, sacred petition. Prayer is not worship. 

Yes, we intermingle prayer and worship when we engage with our heavenly Father and our Christ. However, we don't intermingle them in our interactions with our fellow mortals and fellow celestial brothers and sisters, who are a part of the celestial intelligences in our universe but who do not deserve our worship. If you understand this explanation, then you shall appreciate this: 

A very powerful line to include in prayers: "In the name of the celestial intelligences of all Nebadon, I ask for..."

Unselfish - not alone for oneself.

Believing - according to faith.

Sincere - honest of heart.

Intelligent - according to light.

Trustful - in submission to the Father's all-wise will.
