Body, Soul, and Spirit, PART II

You are made up of body, soul, and spirit. In addition, you have the carnal, animal nature - the mark of the beast as a result of your evolutionary animal origin. You also have a personality and a mind. Your personality is eternally changeless. It is permanence in the midst of all kinds of continuous changes. Your mind is very, very deep, very, very wide, broad, etc. It experiences changes. Your mind is divided into three main aspects: the material, the morontial, and the spiritual aspects. 

You have willpower. You have "free will." You have the power of decision-choice given to you by God. Now, for you to have amazing experiences, and outstanding victories in your daily life, you have to make use of your power of choice to choose godly thoughts, words, and actions that will get you to tap into the great powers or awesome abilities of your body, soul, and spirit. *This is a call to action!* Please, have this in mind as you continue reading. Be blessed!

YOUR BODY
Your body is physical or material, and it is the outer court of your temple, your tabernacle. This is the outer court of your mind. This is the material part of your mind. This is your conscious mind. For example, your brain, a very vital part of your body, has direct access to your conscious mind. As a result, we may say that your body is in the conscious levels of your mind. 

YOUR SOUL 

Your soul exists in the middle realms of your mind, in the middle area of your mind - your mid-mind. This is the inner court of your mind - the morontia part of your mind. Your soul is morontial in nature. This means it exists in a realm between the outward-physical, carnal, or material and the spiritual. (Think of "morontia" as semi-spiritual). Your soul is growing intellectually and spiritually. Your soul is in what we may call the subconscious levels of your mind (for lack of better words).  

For mid-mind, please see Urantia Book 111:2.8

111:2.8, "The midway creatures have long denominated this evolving soul of man the mid-mind in contradistinction to the lower or material mind and the higher or cosmic mind. This mid-mind is really a morontia phenomenon since it exists in the realm between the material and the spiritual..."

YOUR SPIRIT 

Your spirit is the divine spirit, your Thought Adjuster, the still, small voice within you. (This is the technique through which God the Father, himself, is able to live in you. Please, remember, the Paradise Father cannot literally live in you. You will explode!) Your spirit dwells in the superconscious levels of your mind. This is your Holy of Holies within. This is the highest area of your mind. This is your innermost temple or innermost court within. This is the purely spiritual part of your mind. This part of your mind is 100% pure, spotless, pure gold, pure bliss, etc. This is "the citadel of the spirit."

For the superconscious mind, please see Urantia Book 91:2.6
91:2.6, "...But there is also a domain of prayer wherein the intellectually alert and spiritually progressing individual attains more or less contact with the superconscious levels of the human mind, the domain of the indwelling Thought Adjuster..."

This Urantia Book (UB) text more or less reveals the domains of your soul and your spirit - the subconscious levels of your mind (domain of the soul) and the superconscious levels of your mind (domain of the spirit):   

UB Paper 91:3.5, "...Prayer induces the human ego to look both ways for help: for material aid to the subconscious reservoir of mortal experience, for inspiration and guidance to the superconscious borders of the contact of the material with the spiritual, with the Mystery Monitor."

Death, Physical Death

 "...What magic could death, the natural dissolution of the material body, hold that such a simple step should instantly transform the mortal and material mind into an immortal and perfected spirit? Such beliefs are but ignorant superstitions and pleasing fables." - Urantia Book 48:0.3 

So, right here in the Urantia Book, we see that: 
Death, physical death, is the natural dissolution of the material body.
and
Death is a simple step that we take to transition from this earthly realm to the celestial realms. 

Death is a technique that releases the soul and allows the soul and spirit to leave this earth and go to heaven. This is simply the function of death - death of the physical body. Death has no power to make you a perfected spirit. To become a perfected spirit, or for your soul to become perfect as your spirit Thought Adjuster is perfect, you have to grow intellectually and spiritually. 

Three Kinds of Death 
There are three different kinds of death:
UB Paper 112:3, "The Phenomenon of Death" 

112:3.1
Urantians generally recognize only one kind of death, the physical cessation of life energies; but concerning personality survival there are really three kinds:

1. Spiritual (soul) death. If and when mortal man has finally rejected survival, when he has been pronounced spiritually insolvent, morontially bankrupt, in the conjoint opinion of the Adjuster and the surviving seraphim, when such co-ordinate advice has been recorded on Uversa, and after the Censors and their reflective associates have verified these findings, thereupon do the rulers of Orvonton order the immediate release of the indwelling Monitor. But this release of the Adjuster in no way affects the duties of the personal or group seraphim concerned with that Adjuster-abandoned individual. This kind of death is final in its significance irrespective of the temporary continuation of the living energies of the physical and mind mechanisms. From the cosmic standpoint the mortal is already dead; the continuing life merely indicates the persistence of the material momentum of cosmic energies.

2. Intellectual (mind) death. When the vital circuits of higher adjutant ministry are disrupted through the aberrations of intellect or because of the partial destruction of the mechanism of the brain, and if these conditions pass a certain critical point of irreparability, the indwelling Adjuster is immediately released to depart for Divinington. On the universe records a mortal personality is considered to have met with death whenever the essential mind circuits of human will-action have been destroyed. And again, this is death, irrespective of the continuing function of the living mechanism of the physical body. The body minus the volitional mind is no longer human, but according to the prior choosing of the human will, the soul of such an individual may survive.

3. Physical (body and mind) death. When death overtakes a human being, the Adjuster remains in the citadel of the mind until it ceases to function as an intelligent mechanism, about the time that the measurable brain energies cease their rhythmic vital pulsations. Following this dissolution the Adjuster takes leave of the vanishing mind, just as unceremoniously as entry was made years before, and proceeds to Divinington by way of Uversa. 

Now please, let's take a look at, "The wages of sin is death." Please, what does this mean? 

Urantia Book 53:9.8
"But for ages the seven prison worlds of spiritual darkness in Satania have constituted a solemn warning to all Nebadon, eloquently and effectively proclaiming the great truth “that the way of the transgressor is hard”; “that within every sin is concealed the seed of its own destruction”; that “the wages of sin is death.”"  

“The wages of sin is death”: This is talking about spiritual or soul death NOT physical death (not body and mind death). Physical death is simply the natural dissolution of the material body of flesh and blood. It is used to release the soul and spirit from this earthly realm. Another way to release the soul and spirit from this earthly realm is translation by the spiritual fires of God, "chariots of fire": "the spiritual fires of consuming grandeur and ascending glory." (UB 55:2.5)

Is Life In Heaven Going To Be Hassle-Free?

Please, understand that the death of your physical body has no power to transform the state or condition of your soul. In addition, there is this aspect of your being called the animal nature that cannot be eradicated by death. This animal nature exerts pressure on your soul. Your animal, carnal nature strives to dominate you. There is a spirit in you that is also striving for dominance. This is your spirit; the still, small voice within. Life in the heavenly realms is not going to be completely hassle-free because of the animal nature, the carnal nature, the mark of the beast in man. The tussle between the spirit and the flesh (or animal nature) is going to continue over there, in the heavenly abodes till the animal nature is completely gone. So, the more we overcome the beast in us while here on earth, the better for us. We also have to factor in the level of maturity of the soul. 

In heaven, you will continue from where you left off on earth. You must reap what you sow. For example, if you refused or failed to learn the lessons of forgiveness; if you struggled with jealousy and envy; if you were not interested in more matured spiritual truths, etc, when you get to heaven, you will be made to face all the lessons you avoided or skipped while on earth. Death has no power to magically transform your soul. The soul must grow through experience. That is how you go from glory to glory. It cannot automatically happen. This is why people will have different rewards in the heavenly abodes. Hence, Jesus always advised, "Lay up treasures for yourself in heaven."

This is where amazing personal relationship with God by way of relationship with the indwelling divine Thought Adjuster, your spirit, comes in. It is the spirit at work in us and with us that transforms us gradually, peeling off the animal nature and replacing it with the divine nature. This process yields amazing experiences and lessons for us and for the spirit and also for a vast, vast, vast universes upon universes with all its uncountable intelligent life! This mind boggling treasure throve of experiences are of eternal significance to the Paradise Trinity and everyone and everything else. 

When you get to the mansion worlds of glory and bliss, you will continue from where you left off, in dealing with the animal nature. Death has no magic or power to eradicate the animal nature. Physical death has no power to take care of a spiritual challenge. Death is just a tool that enables us to transition from this earth to the heavenly realms. 

All those who refuse to grow intellectually and spiritually on earth will have a rude awakening when they get to heaven because they will realize that all the discipline and lessons they refused to go through on earth will be patiently waiting for them in heaven. All the mental, emotional, spiritual, etc challenges that they dodged or avoided on earth will be waiting for them in heaven. To become perfect as the heavenly Father is perfect is not a piece of cake. 

I had a spiritual experience where I was taken to heaven and shown a gentleman who had died some years earlier and is now in heaven (the Father's house - mansion worlds). I saw him seating in a corner, sad and in deep thought. He was having a hard time over there. Yes, life there is fun, great, beautiful, blissful, etc. Yes, he had all that but in addition, he was finding some things very difficult to navigate through. And the reason is he had to deal with his animal nature; he had to confront all the lessons needed for him to grow spiritually - lessons that he dodged while on earth. 

Heaven is a spiritual place. As a result, the more intelligent and spiritually minded we are, they more will be the enjoyment that we will experience. The less spiritual one is, the less will be the enjoyment. People will have to unlearn and relearn in heaven. Death has no power to miraculously remove all their stupid and false religious beliefs, etc. They will have to be taught aright in the schools in the heavenly worlds. And then, each one of them will have to make a decision whether or not to drop every wrong teaching, self-limiting tendencies, etc. If you drop them, you move on. If you don't, you'll be stuck till you are ready to drop them. Some people will even remain in mansion world number one (this is the "first heaven") for decades upon decades or even centuries - for as long as it will take for them to evolve to higher levels.

It's just like someone comes to the United States of America from a very, very remote and backward village in a very backward country, far away. He didn't complete Elementary School or Primary School education before coming. For him to make quality progress in the United States of America, he will have to complete his Elementary School classes. And he cannot get a great job or task at a big company like Tesla. The most he can get is mopping floors or cleaning toilets in a fast-food restaurant.  

So, he will continue to mop floors for 10 years, 30 years, on and on - for as long as it will take him to complete Primary School and advance. Now, please, how will it look like, for example, for such a man to come to America and be satisfied with cleaning toilets or mopping floors for 10 years, 20 years, 40 years etc without receiving a promotion; without getting a pay raise; and living in a tiny rented room? 

How will you consider such a brother if he tells you that he is fully satisfied with all that; and that he is just very happy to have entered the United States? Everybody around him is progressing; moving on to Secondary School and University; taking on greater responsibilities, becoming CEOs and buying big and beautiful houses; traveling to amazing sight seeing places in America; learning, growing and enjoying so much goodies - the good, great life that America provides. But over there, in one corner, you have a brother who is not progressing and is just happy to be in America... 

The truth is, very, very soon, his happiness and contentment will fade away. If he refuses to make progress, he will see himself for the fool that he has allowed himself to become. After some time, nobody will even tell him to put in more effort. He, himself, will slap some senses into his head! Otherwise, he will not be able to cope at all in America. This is like an analogy with regards to mortal souls who have gone to heaven. Hallelujah! This is why Jesus always emphasized that we should lay up treasures for ourselves in heaven; that we will be rewarded in heaven depending on our fruits or level of spiritual attainment; that each individual will reap what he or she sows.

From Earth To Paradise

We are placed here on earth and we start out as souls to learn, grow, develop, etc through having all kinds of experiences in an imperfect world. You are an imperfect soul; you have a perfect spirit; and you live in an imperfect, mortal body. Your imperfect soul is destined to grow and evolve into becoming eternally one with your indwelling perfect spirit (your Thought Adjuster, Inner Voice) and then to eventually become a true spirit - a perfected spirit, becoming, "Perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect." 

The still small voice within you is your spirit and is God in you. This is your 💯 percent (100%) perfect Thought Adjuster, that lives in your mind, in the Holy of Holies of your mind - your superconscious mind, working in you to get you, your soul, to attain divine perfection. This indwelling spirit is here to lead you Godward. This Thought Adjuster, divine spark of God or candle light of God came from Paradise and will eventually take you to Paradise, on its way back to Paradise, if you cooperate. In the process of leading you to Paradise, you, your soul will experience tremendous transformations till you become a perfected spirit. 

There are so many lessons and blessings and opportunities for amazing growth and expansion in living in a world that is not yet perfect. These lessons and blessings are received and enjoyed by mortal and celestial beings alike. These lessons and blessings and growth are very, very valuable in order for us, in partnership with divinity, to successfully carry out great tasks in eternity, in our eternal future. If we allow the Spirit of Truth to teach us and expand to us, the eternal divine plan and purpose of God, then everything will begin to make so much sense, as to why we are here on earth! At Salvation, Is Your Spirit Recreated or Liberated?

Jesus said, "I am on earth solely to comfort the minds, liberate the spirits, and save the souls of men." (Urantia Book 140:6.6)

Of the spirit, your indwelling spirit, it is written, "At some time, during human sleep, has been temporarily detached from the mind of mortal incarceration to perform some exploit of liaison, contact, reregistration, or other extrahuman service associated with the spiritual administration of the world of assignment." (Urantia Book 109:2.6)

"Truly of the human race has it been said, “You are of God” because “he who dwells in love dwells in God, and God in him.” Even in wrongdoing you torment the indwelling gift of God, for the Thought Adjuster must needs go through the consequences of evil thinking with the human mind of its incarceration." - Urantia Book 3:1.5 

At salvation, who gets born again: your soul or your spirit? Jesus said, "I am on earth solely to comfort the minds, liberate the spirits, and save the souls of men." Clearly, the Master made a distinction between the mind, the spirit and the soul. 

Ezekiel puts it rightly in saying: the soul that sins, shall die. (Ezekiel 18:20) The prophet did not say the human spirit that sins shall die. Nowhere will you find God saying that your spirit, the still small voice within (1 Kings 19:12), can die or shall die. It's not possible because your spirit (Job 32:8) is perfect and came directly from the heavenly Father. And this same spirit returns to The Father at the death of your physical body. (Ecclesiastes 12:7) 

This spirit is God the Father within you and lives in the golden holy of holies deep within you or in the superconscious level of your mind. Sin does not exist there. It is perfectly clean in there. Pure. Golden. Pure, pristine gold. This is the Father's presence within. The First Source and Divine Center within.

However, this spirit within - your spirit, depends on your will before it can act freely to bring all kinds of blessings to your total mind and your soul. The spirit will not force anything on you. Your cooperation is needed. You have to align your heart, your will and your way to that of God and to do so wholeheartedly. Then, the spirit will emerge from the innermost temple or innermost court within, to manifest greatly in your life: in your mind, your heart, your soul - to manifest through you mightily to the glory of God the Father. 

The spirit sits at the citadel of your being - the citadel of the spirit, the throne within waiting patiently for you to grant permission. So, when you - your soul gets born again or born from above, the indwelling spirit fragment of God is liberated! In accepting the Father's gift of salvation, you have aligned your will with that of God. When you make a decision, to, as it were, surrender all to God, his spirit will latch onto your personality and your will to do more work in you, for you and with you. This is why you sense or perceive a great liberation of your spirit at the new birth (salvation). Your spirit is liberated NOT recreated. Liberate is the right word not recreate. Your spirit receives more freedom to soar and do so much more for you and through you. Your spirit, the Inner Voice, is, in that sense, set free. 

It is not that the spirit was in chains, in bondage, in darkness. No! There's no darkness in the holy of holies within. There's no darkness in the superconscious level of your mind. Only light! However, the inner spirit can be said to be restricted or incarcerated within you because of the limitations placed upon it for the very fact that it has come to live inside a circumscribed mortal body and by design, is dependent on your will or cooperation in oder to fully express itself through you. 

I have chosen to use the word, "it" for the indwelling spirit because by design, this spirit from the Father is "prepersonal". It has come into you with no personality of its own and is dependent on your personality to live through you. The still small voice is dependent on both your personality and your will in order to bless you mightily... ...Dependent or waits for you to use your will to align with its will - the will of God. These are some reasons why your spirit, your Thought Adjuster is said to be in the mind of mortal incarceration. The spirit is incarcerated in your mind. And will experience more and more liberation to do more work for you and through you, the more you align your will with the Father's will. 

Please remember, your spirit does not get born again. It is your soul that gets born again or recreated (if you like that word). Your spirit cannot be recreated. That's God in you and God cannot be recreated. However, your spirit can be liberated! The spirit can be liberated in the context of the explanation above.

Body, Soul and Spirit

Your body is the vehicle that your soul and spirit need in order to live, function and experience life in this earthly, terrestrial realm. Your body is not your real you. It is a vehicle, a house, a temple, a tool for your soul and spirit to express and exert themselves in a third dimensional realm like planet Earth. 

Your soul is your real you. Your soul exists in a realm between your body and your spirit. It impinges on or interacts with your body and your spirit more directly. It is your soul that is the YOU that continues to exist after your life on Earth is done. It is your soul that receives the gift of salvation; that gets born again or born from above. Your body does not get born again. Your spirit does not need salvation.

Your spirit is pure and perfect. Your spirit has the perfection of "the Source" - God the Father. Your spirit came from the Father to live in you; to spiritualize your thinking; to help you to become perfect as the Father is perfect, slowly but surely. Your spirit is the image of God in you because it is an exact replica of God, miniaturized in a way you can contain. This is why this spirit is called the spark of God, the candle light of God, the still small voice, the divine fractal, the divine fragment of God in you.

Your spirit lives in your mind, in the superconscious level of your mind or the holy of holies of your mind. This is the highest dimension of your mind where sin does not exist. It is pure gold. It is far above your conscious mind, subconscious mind, etc. This is how God in his perfection, power, love and glory can live in you even when you give yourself over to ungodliness or unrighteous deeds. Even when you succumb to temptations, God is still in you because there's a place in you where evil, sin and iniquity cannot approach. You are "fearfully and wonderfully made" indeed!

Body, Soul and Spirit: Salvation and Perfection

A human being is made up of body, soul and spirit. (And of course, there are the aspects of mind and heart.) Your body cannot get born again (or born from above; salvation). It is of the earth (dust) and it will return to the earth after you leave this earthly realm. "Dust to dust." (Ecclesiastes 12:7)

It is your soul that gets born again. Your spirit (Job 32:8) cannot get born again because in actuality, your spirit is the still small voice within; the Inner Voice; the candle light or lamp of God within; the spirit of God the Father in you - that comes into you when you attain the age of accountability and make your first real moral decision; usually between the ages of 4 and 6. Your spirit is your Thought Adjuster.

Your spirit within you does the actual work of soul transformation from spiritual death to spiritual life (from death to life). This is why Jesus Christ taught us that we are born of water and of the spirit. This "spirit" is your spirit - the Father's spirit already in you; waiting for you - your soul to come home to the Father. The spirit transforms your soul in the spiritual water, fountain of life within.

Your real "you" is your soul. Hence, "the soul that sins, shall die". (Ezekiel 18:20a) Please, take note: it says, "the soul that sins" NOT "the spirit that sins". The spirit (your spirit) is God (or is as God) and cannot sin. Your spirit is the image of God in you and works in you to get you - your soul to become born again and very slowly but surely become perfect as the Father in heaven is perfect. You cannot attain the Father's perfection in one lifetime. However, one day, in the heavenly realms, YOU will!

At death (death of your physical body), your spirit returns back to God who gave it. (Ecclesiastes 12:7) and will be reunited with your soul at resurrection and they will live in your new heavenly body. If you reject God's salvation the spirit does not return. And your soul shall surely die - eternal separation from God; spiritual death. The soul shall surely die if all attempts to salvage it fails. This soul death is the second death. (Revelation 20:14) The first death is the death of a body. The second death is the death of a soul.

Understanding the Concept of Body, Soul, Spirit

We are humans, born into this world (Earth) and having all kinds of experiences. To live on Earth, you (your soul) needs a physical body. Part of the eternal divine plan is that we grow spiritually to become perfect like our heavenly Father is perfect. It is your soul that grows spiritually.

Your spirit does not grow spiritually. Your spirit is already perfect - your spirit is given to you by God (Ecclesiastes 12:7). Your spirit comes directly from the Father, perfect. When the scripture says we are created in the image and likeness of God, the actual meaning is that we have been given a spirit that is literally in the very image and likeness of God. This is the gift from God the Father to human beings. This spirit (Job 32:8) is given to us to lead us "Godward" - heavenward; to assist us (our souls) to become born again and also to grow to become perfect as God the Father is perfect.

No where does God say your spirit can die or shall die. No where. Please, why? Your spirit is God the Father's spirit within you - perfect and sinless; seated on the throne in your Holy of Holies within. At death, it returns back to God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:7). This is why there's nothing like a re-created spirit. It is your soul that gets born again (or re-created, if you want to use that word) NOT your spirit. It is also your soul that will either die (lake of fire, second death) or at resurrection, be reunited with your spirit (the spirit that went back to God who gave it) and go to heaven in a heavenly or celestial body.

Job 32:8, "But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding."

Ecclesiastes 12:7, "Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit will return to God who gave it."

1 Corinthians 15:40, "And there are heavenly bodies, and earthly bodies: but different is the glory of the heavenly, different that of the earthly."

Ezekiel 18:20, "The soul who sins shall die..."

Revelation 20:14, "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."

Hell Fire, the Lake of Fire and God's Love

Please, come with me, patiently... Here on Earth, if someone with a conscience does something bad, evil or wicked, he (or she) usually would feel really uncomfortable. He would feel some pains and would go through some sorrows. If he does something amazing and really good, he would feel happiness, joy, love and satisfaction.

In the after-life, when the physical body shell is discarded, these feelings of pains/sorrows or joy/gladness are highly, greatly amplified to the "nth degree". The joy, gladness and love become really, really "unspeakable"! The pains, sorrows and guilt become really, really amplified too. The physical, carnal body really does insulate us from or limit us from having a complete or total, all-encompassing feeling of "actual realities". The mortal death (the first death), changes all that.

This explains why souls feel great pains in hell or great joys unspeakable in heaven. God does not take pleasure in punishing you. But you reap what you sow. Plain and simple. 

However, the heavenly Father, the Father of all does not keep souls in hell forever. We must ask, "Keeping souls in hell eternally... ...Please, what purpose does it serve? How does that add value to the eternal plan and purpose of God? Who benefits from that?"

Revelation 20:14 says, "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." Clearly, "hell" is not the same as "the lake of fire". If they are the same, hell will not be cast into the lake of fire. Hell cannot be cast into itself. So, please, what does this text mean? The mortal death is the first death. Now, some people will find themselves in hell. But after a while, "death and hell" would be cast into the lake of fire. What does this mean? It means they would go from hell to the lake of fire. Why?

The thing is, the love, mercy and justice of our changeless or immutable heavenly Father is far, far beyond our human understanding. Even in hell, people would have an opportunity to make an eternally binding decision to totally and completely reject God and his eternal plan and purpose. This decision, in all fairness, has to be made "consciously" and "wholeheartedly". True justice demands this. And many times, the confusion and turmoil of the very short life on Earth does not afford people the opportunity to make this decision. In all fairness, they must be afforded this opportunity. We are talking about souls that cannot be admitted into "heaven" - they have not met the requirements but at the same time, they have not fully and wholeheartedly rejected God - consciously or knowingly.

This is where "hell" comes in. It's a temporary holding place. If the soul repents completely and wholeheartedly submits to the Father's eternal plan, purpose and love, he (or she) gains the right to "ascend" to the celestial abodes of glory (a.k.a. heaven). If the soul refuses to wholeheartedly embrace the divine love and to fall in line with God's eternal plan and purpose, then there's nothing else Deity can do for such a soul. His/her final destination becomes "the lake of fire", which is "the second death" (Revelation 20:14).

"The lake of fire" is a coded term for annihilation or cessation of being. The individual will cease to exist. That's it. To God and to righteous spirits, cessation of being is a most painful thing - beyond what human words can describe. To them, it is synonymous with being cast into a lake of fire, world without end. The lake of fire is cessation of being. The soul has consciously and wholeheartedly decided not to be a part of God's eternal adventure. He (or she) would be let go!

Yes, Jesus Christ said in hell, the worms do not die and the fire is not quenched (Mark 9:48). But he never said the soul would be there eternally. After the first death (physical body death), if the soul lands in hell, he/she would continue his/her existence there. If that soul totally and completely refuses to be salvaged, he/she would experience death. This is the second death - the death of the soul. This means, "death and hell" for that particular individual is cast into "the lake of fire". This is the final judgment. There is no resurrection whatsoever for the individual at this stage. There is no resurrection from the second death.

The first death is death of the mortal flesh. But the soul continues to exist. The second death is death of the soul. With regards to "the spirit", it is with God - the spirit returns to God after the first death. At the second death, "the personality" returns to God. The soul disintegrates into nothingness. Anything of eternal value from the life experiences of the individual is preserved in "the spirit".

It is very important for us to understand that many times, symbols are used by the heavenly realms to communicate information to us, who live in the earthly realm. In your dream experiences, you may be shown "hell fire". This does not mean in literal terms there is a physical fire with people burning in it. The fire, the worms, etc that you may see are symbolic. You may even see angels interacting with the souls there. And the "interaction" may appear to your mortal mind as "torture". In actuality, the angels are ministering to the souls, seeking to assist them to evolve. What you see as "torture from angels" is symbolic. The soul is being provided opportunities to face what is holding him/her back from wholeheartedly embracing the divine love and the divine way. The weights and chains keeping him down in the pits of hell have to be broken to allow him ascend to heaven. It's not a walk in the park. There's conflict. There's pain. There's sorrow. It is what it is. But one day, a final choice will be made... 

No one will be in great pains and sorrows forever and ever in some hell. Being in hell eternally serves no value to anyone. It adds nothing to our heavenly Father's eternal plan and purpose. Nothing. It benefits no one. It adds nothing to the Father's eternal Kingdom. Plain and simple. The unfathomable love of the Father of fathers will go at any length to salvage or save his child. But that which love cannot save does not exist forever. Justice will terminate it. Some people do not understand these things, in part, because they have a very, very limited and a very, very faulty viewpoint of the concept of the soul. May the eyes of our understanding be enlightened. Amen.

Now may the will of God, our heavenly Father, the Father of spirits, be done by you! 👉🕴👈

Are You Under a Curse or a Blessing? #law #grace

You place yourself under a curse if you insist that in order to please or obey God, you MUST do a certain thing, a particular way ALL THE TIME; that you MUST rigidly follow a particular practice through just one method or one way, leaving no room for flexibility. This is a curse because it shuts out spirit. You cannot place the indwelling spirit of our Heavenly Father in a box. You cannot place a strict limit on God. Such a posture drives out divine influences and divine spiritual manifestations. 

When you understand these things, you will begin to appreciate why Jesus did not insist that it is a MUST for people to do this or do that: for example, that it is a MUST to be circumcised; a MUST to give tithes; a MUST to give your entire income of the first month (by the way, the law of Moses didn't even demand the entire income of the first month); a MUST not to wear earrings; a MUST for opposite sexes not to shake hands or exchange hugs, etc, etc. The New and Living Way established and promoted by Jesus Christ did not say, "It is a MUST". Instead it says, "Walk in love." Do all in love as you are led by the spirit from within. It teaches a life that communes with the Father intimately and follows the "divine leading" of the Heavenly Father.

This is a key reason why Paul rightly said in Galatians 5:4, "You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace." It is not possible to walk by FAITH and JUSTIFICATION if you put yourself under the yoke of, "a set pattern", which is what "the law" does. Also, you cannot implement one or two laws and leave out the others. You must implement ALL. Please, see Galatians 5:3, "And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law." And also, Galatians 3:10, "For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”"

Frankly and sincerely, it is not possible to do ALL things written in the book of the law. From the get go, it was designed to put people in bondage. Even if you succeed in implementing all, you will end up in a very severe and terrible bondage. You will shut out the leading of God from your life. You will turn off the Still Small Voice within you. If you place yourself under the law, you cannot successfully walk by faith and great love.

In the New Covenant in Christ Jesus, we are admonished and encouraged to give money or material goods in accordance with what we have been blessed with and to do so cheerfully (lovingly). Let the indwelling spirit of the Father lead you. That’s it. However, do you wish to tithe? Then do it cheerfully and never make it "A LAW" in your life. Even with the tithe, let the spirit lead you as to when, how and to whom to disburse it. Do you wish to give first fruits? Again, the principle is the same. But if you make these things a law, you remove yourself from the blessings of grace; from the blessings of being led by the spirit; from the advantages of “doing things in different ways as opposed to strictly and rigidly following a set pattern”. You may unknowingly invite curses into your life, as explained above.

Be led by the spirit. You are under grace not the law. You are under the anointing of faith that works by love not religious laws. For example, the spirit of God the Father within you can say to you, “I know you are in the habit of taking a tithe to your local Church. However, this month, I want you to take that 10% and give it to your Aunt who is going through a financial crisis.” Bear in mind, in the kingdom of God, you are not chained down by a strictly rigid way of doing things! So, would you acknowledge that as God’s voice or would you rebuke it, “I rebuke the devil in Jesus’ name.” Deep speaks unto deep!

Please, understand that you are to live a life of liberty, obeying the law of the "Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus", the law of "Faith that works by love". (Please, see Galatians 5:6). This is the perfect law of liberty, the law of love (James 1:25-27). Be guided by the divine love not religious laws. Be led from within you! The heavenly Father’s perfect law is in your mind, and it is written on your heart (Jeremiah 31:33). What you need to do is to “activate” a real, living and powerful personal relationship with Him. We need to come to a very high place of deep intimacy with the Father in order to understand and walk in the reality of these things. Amen. This is the all powerful domain of the realities of the New Creation “in Christ”. May God Almighty bless us! Hallelujah! Hosanna in the Highest!

Jesus said, "The Kingdom of God is within you."

What is the good news of the Kingdom? Jesus said, "The Kingdom of God is within you." WITHIN you because you are created in the image and after the likeness of your God, our Father in Heaven. He has put His spirit WITHIN you. As a human being, there's a "Holy of Holies" WITHIN you. That's where the Father's spirit dwells. This is the true meaning of Job 32:8, "But there is a spirit in man..."

Jesus' gospel placed a central FOCUS on this very fact. Jesus did not say the Kingdom was about to come into you. No! He said it was already WITHIN you! Salvation comes to you when you believe and receive this fact by faith through the grace of God and dedicate your heart completely to walking in its realities again by faith through the grace of God. And then in intimate fellowship with God's indwelling spirit, you begin to manifest the values, character and culture of the Kingdom. As a result, the Kingdom would exert its influence in your midst or around you. This is how the kingdoms of men become the Kingdom of our God and His Christ.

This is a summary of the good news or the gospel of the Kingdom as presented by Jesus Christ. Anything different is "another gospel". It doesn't matter who presents it: be it an angel, Paul, Peter or your Pastor. It is "another gospel".

"149:5.2 “Simon, some persons are naturally more happy than others. Much, very much, depends upon the willingness of man to be led and directed by the Father’s spirit which lives within him. Have you not read in the Scriptures the words of the wise man, ‘The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts’?..."
That was Jesus quoting Proverbs 20:27. :) 

"I Surrender All"

Hello! Greetings and Salutations!

Please, what do we really mean when we say, "I surrender all to God"? Surrendering all to our Heavenly Father implies we welcome Him to sit at the throne of our hearts; to be the 'man' in charge of our lives. We willingly welcome Him into the citadel of our lives. Please, listen closely and be blessed!

'Borderland' - The final phases of the soul's struggle for complete spiritual dominance!

Imagine you are in country A. You are on your way to country B. In your heart, you are already in the new and better and greater country - country B. But you still have some of the ways and culture of country A. Nevertheless, you are now advancing, taking in more and more of country B's mindset, culture, beliefs, etc. It is not a very easy journey. It is not a piece of cake. There are struggles. But you are being nudged and led and assisted by an unseen hand, taking you closer and closer to the better country, better place.

Now imagine you have reached the borders (borderland). You are on the verge of a great achievement. You are about to succeed in totally and completely giving up the mindset, ways, culture, beliefs, etc of country A and wholeheartedly and completely embracing those of country B. You are at a crossroad. If you succeed in getting into country B, you would never ever be able to go back to country A. Backsliding or changing your mind becomes impossible - practically impossible. You continue to make major decisions, big decisions in this respect. You are at the brink of total self destruction and complete soul reconstruction. More powers and maturity come to you to enable you align your heart and mind completely to practically doing the will of God - to FULLY and EASILY implementing the culture of country B, without any more struggles. THE DAYS OF STRUGGLING ARE ABOUT TO BE OVER - completely over. 

If you really succeed here, if you cross the borderland, you become like a superhuman - it is like attaining the first circle of cosmic consciousness. It's like being fully qualified for Thought Adjuster fusion (a.k.a. 'rapture' or Elijah translation/Enoch translation). Of course, fusion can be delayed to allow you continue your life and work here on Earth.

You become completely like Jesus - no negative ego whatsoever. You are dead to sin, self, pride, etc. You are now a manifestation of Jesus in all totality. You have crossed the BORDERLAND. Hallelujah! Glory to God! Amen.

Transitioning or maturing out of the "borderland" is quite an uphill task! Some people have experienced emotional breakdown... Victory lies in boldly holding onto God's hands in FAITH; spending time in prayers and meditation; allowing for great changes to occur on your inside; responding willfully to the divine outworking on your inside - reflecting on your challenges and co-creating/seeing the victory or God's desired outcome through faith, prayers, meditation.... Declare, speak forth and see the new "you", the more matured place, etc you desire to be... 

Some people reject deep or higher level spirituality because they don't want to summon the courage, guts and faith to deal with the borderland. Going through the borderland is just inevitable. Enjoy the ride! Your TA (Thought Adjuster, God within) would guide you. 

May the 'force' be with you! Hahaha...

Another way I look at borderland is this: the final struggle between the flesh and the spirit - the arena, close to spiritland, where the two natures of man square it all out - the final struggle, the last fight, to tip man over completely to the spirit realm - higher spiritual maturity and freedom - 'spiritland', where you are completely aligned with the WILL and WAY of God.

Quality of Thinking!

Urantia Book 81:6.28 "At first life was a struggle for existence; now, for a standard of living; next it will be for quality of thinking, the coming earthly goal of human existence."

Quality of thinking... Some people, as individuals have attained this level, right here and now. Their existence is secured. They have a good standard of living. They have very meaningful and very productive human relationships. By the way, having a good standard of living doesn't mean they are millionaires. But they are content, satisfied and thankful to God, where they are at. It doesn't mean they do not strive to generate more wealth. But they are not greedy and overly materialistic.

And right here, right now, they are at a far higher level of, "Quality of thinking". Good thoughts. Thoughts, plans and works that are lovely, beautiful, true, uplifting and sustainable... Mindsets that are noble and service oriented... Masters at coming up with new and better ways of doing things... Students of the advancement of human civilization and culture! These are co-creators with "divinity"... Glory!

Quality of thinking... In this arena, people are "Thought Leaders". Here, great ideas and ideals are the order of the day. People make remarkable, sustainable progress. There's a smorgasbord of, "Leaps of faith". Leaps of faith occur and thrive easily because, "Leaps of thought" and "Leaps in thought" are commonplace. At this stage of human existence, thought leaders abound!
